Our story

A legacy worth
stepping into.

Long before the spotlight found this generation, Pam Brown built a theatre tradition at Walker High School—now Jasper High School—rooted in excellence, courage, and belonging.

Today, Centerstage is rising again. Led by a former Centerstage student who has returned home as director, the program honors that foundation while making room for new voices, new stories, and a new generation of theatre-makers.

Ticket sales alone cannot build the theatre program our students deserve. Community partners help provide scripts, costumes, sets, technical equipment, competition opportunities, and a seat at the table for every student—regardless of ability to pay.
